Solo But Not Alone 6 Charity Bundle for Mental Health: Partnering with Take This, a charity “working to support mental health in the gaming community and industry by decreasing stigma and making supports available to people who need them”, the sixth iteration of this itch.io-based fundraising effort has once again been organized by Leon Richardson of Peach Garden Games. With 90 solo-capable games in the bundle for only $10 (a ~96% discount), none of which were in SBNA1-5, SBNA6 is 40% of the way towards its initial goal with two months to go.

The OSR and other retro-proponents have been trying to make D&D do everything and the kitchen sink for years now, and one designer who’s been quite successful at this approach is Kevin Crawford. I had almost forgotten how old his first breakout game was until this morning. From the archives it’s Stars Without Number, when we discovered the work of Crawford and Sine Nomine Publishing back in 2018.
