Top News Stories

Okay, one last tariff article: ICv2 reported on the most recent Customs ruling pertaining to tabletop RPGs, and unlike the CROSS ruling I discussed last week, it’s from 2024 and was requested for a recent product (in this case, Shadowrun First Edition 35th Anniversary). The ruling classifies RPG rulebooks as books, and this should put tariff exemption confusion to bed given that it’s the most recent precedent.

TTRPGs for Trans Rights Bundle – Ohio Edition Enters Final Week: With 467 pieces of TTRPG goodness worth ~$1,766 going for only $5, this year’s TTRPG Trans Rights Bundle has smashed through several goals, with more than $74k raised so far as of this writing. Funds raised will be going to TransOhio and Kaleidoscope Youth Center, and there’s a little more than six days to go.

From the Archives

Because we’re still talking about the messy business of tariffs, it seemed like an apropos time to bring back from the archives RPG Market Data is a Mess. Another mess in the hobby which has arguably gotten worse since the article was published.
