  4. Legend of the Five Rings – Children of the Five Winds
  5. Warhammer: The Old World Roleplaying Game Gamemaster’s Guide

From the Archives

Another evergreen conversation, first posted to Cannibal Halfling three years ago. As PDFs have gotten cheaper and print runs have gotten smaller, even what constitutes an ‘edition’ has changed. Thanks to the big guys and their marketing budgets, though, there’s always going to be a demand to change up the field. From the archives this week is Editions and Edition Wars.

Discussion of the Week

If you could see one untapped IP become an RPG, what would it be?: Licensed RPGs can be good or bad, but which licenses end up chosen seems to be so arbitrary to those of us outside of the film and video game IP worlds. Some great discussion in here, but you needn’t even look past the intro to see a callout of a license immediately followed with ‘but not the game we actually have.’
