What’s the best TTRPG to switch to from D&D?: There are many, many game recommendation threads on r/RPG, and most of them aren’t great; either the OP has a specific idea in mind and can’t clearly communicate it, or the ask is so vague that the top-rated comment is for GURPS. This recommendation thread, though, has a lot of interesting and thoughtful answers. The top ones are also some of my favorites, logical offramps from D&D to similar games as well as ‘going goblin mode’ with a bunch of one-shots that don’t resemble D&D in the slightest.
