Top News Stories

Wizards of the Coast Hiring New Lead Designer and Head of Game Ecosystem for D&D: While this comes from ENWorld, the key links are to LinkedIn, job postings for, literally, Principal Game Designer and Head of Game Ecosystem. $150-200k, which is eminently fair (though you’d have to move to the Seattle area so don’t mistake this for ‘high-paying’). So, which Cannibal Halfling reader is going to apply to this and fix D&D?

From the Archives

While podcasting and audio editing is a lot of work, it remains something that the Cannibal Halfling crew dips their toes into when we’re able. From the archives this week is our first actual play for Cannibal Halfling Radio, Ryuutama. This was a small group, but still proved to be a fun way to try out the game and see why everyone was talking about “Studio Ghibli’s Oregon Trail.”

Discussion of the Week

How to explain to my mom, that this is not a satanic cult, nor my DM and other players will put me to slavery?: A reminder that while the Satanic Panic is over, evangelicals still exist. That said, getting parents to actually sit in on sessions is often a highly effective solution. “It’s just math!”
