Our group is slowly coming up on their annual Beach Weekend, when the otherwise online-only gamers all trek out to a beach in Delaware for a weekend of in-person gaming. For a very long time one of our institutions was a one-shot of Paranoia. Although the game started to get a little stale in one-shot format after the sixth or seventh time, it never ceased to be memorable and is still something we look back on. From the archives this week is the System Split comparison of two Paranoia editions: Red Clearance and XP.

Tried RPGs for the first time, and I’m hooked. First as a player, now as a DM: The sorts of stories I love to hear. Not only did OP find the hobby and love it, but their first games were Mork Borg and Mausritter.
