D&D missteps referenced on Hasbro earnings call: During the Hasbro earnings call on Thursday, CEO Chris Cocks admitted that Wizards had ‘misfired’ with its handling of the OGL, though also stated that the financial implications (in the form of D&D Beyond subscriptions) were relatively minor. From there, the earnings discussion of D&D focused significantly more on the upcoming movie, officially licensed video games like Baldur’s Gate 3, and next year’s TV show. Go figure.
