Top News Stories

“Paizo & Archives of Nethys—Moving Forward Together”: Thankfully, things weren’t in flux for long. Paizo and the Archives of Nethys have come to a new agreement – there are still some changes in how things work, but it seems a pretty good compromise. The new agreement is ‘less formal’ than a commercial license which saves Paizo work hours in managing it, and AoN doesn’t have to pay royalties. Art that is not part of Paizo’s Community Use Policy will still be pulled, but Paizo is planning to add more options to that Policy (which will benefit more people than just AoN). AoN won’t get files as early as they used to, but they’ll still get them ahead of street date, which AoN thinks will work out nicely.

Overall, seems like as happy an ending to this one as we could get.

From the Archives

In our personal lives, last weekend we wrapped up a game of Cyberpunk RED after 3.5 years and 42 sessions. As GMing musical chairs is played and we move onto other characters, systems, and worlds, I’m raising one more glass to the Alleyway Regulars – and remembering other campaigns long finished.

A Brief Calendar of Online TTRPG Stuff: Not strictly online stuff either; Odd Fair Press has put together this handy list of annual conventions, jams, awards, events, and community rituals to help you keep track of them.
