Top News Stories
Pride Charity Bundles on DriveThruRPG: Roll20/DTRPG has put together two pretty darn big bundles for Pride this year, with all proceeds going to two charity organizations. The first bundle benefits Outright International and includes such games as Fabula Ultima, and the second benefits Tabletop Gaymers and includes games like Thirsty Sword Lesbians. Both have several hundred dollars worth of stuff for only $24.99, and it’s not just games – there are some graphic novels in the mix as well, like Vol. 1 of Girl Genius in the Gaymers bundle.
From the Archives
Origins Games Fair is going on this weekend, and one of its events is a live Cyberpunk RED session with Mike Pondsmith himself and several voice actors from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners – so it’s as good a time as any to revisit the Cyberpunk Edgrunners Mission Kit!
Discussion of the Week
Do narrative games (e.g. PbtA) ask more of the player than DnD? Rules-lite does not necessarily mean easier to play, and cognitive load is not always evenly distributed regardless of what kind of game. It all leads to some interesting discussions about what different kinds of games ask of their groups, and how different groups approach those same asks.
