Blades in the Dark optioned for TV: Recently confirmed by John Harper himself, Blades in the Dark is being developed for TV by Warp Films. While Blades has a strong starting point in the form of its setting, Doskvol, it’s still anyone’s guess as to what the characters and casting are going to look like. That may be the strength of RPG licenses, though, the leeway to write your own TV-ready protagonists. Wonder if anyone else is chasing this…
Exalted optioned for TV too?: As it turns out, yup. British production outfit Jenkins and Tate announced that they had optioned the White Wolf property, in addition to Scion which they had optioned earlier. The synopsis given of the show would be familiar to Exalted players as the, erm, basic metaplot of the whole damn thing. Knowing that, it’s still anyone’s guess what they’re going to do with the property and if it’ll be any good.
