2025 Origins Awards Winners Revealed: Award winners from the Origins Game Fair were announced over the week; of note for this audience is that Yazeba’s Bed and Breakfast won the best RPG Core Product category and Call of Cthulhu: No Time to Scream won best RPG Supplement. The ICv2 author complained that the new D&D core rulebooks got no recognition this cycle but a) they were neither interesting nor the ‘best’ at anything, and b) seriously, go suck up to the corporation somewhere else. Congrats to Chaosium and Possum Creek Games!

What is your White Whale campaign concept?: It’s no surprise we like big and complex campaign ideas here at Cannibal Halfling, Aaron even described his most recent System Hack series kickoff as for a ‘White Whale campaign’. There’s a great diversity of answers here, including heavy historical roleplay, running a group of heroes and a group of villains against each other, and even a game night like the ‘good old days’ with no phones or other outside distractions.
